From September 2007 each Rugby Section will have a specific budget that they will be able to use for printing and advertising and marketing* (P,A&M) purposes without reference to the Club Treasurer or the Club Executive.It is yet to be established whether this budget will be divided amongst the various Rugby Sections (and in what ratio) or whether Sections will simply access a central pot. In the meantime, there is a need to monitor and approve any proposed spending in such areas and the spend, and the following procedures need to be followed until further notice. Any spending that has already been made since 01.09.06 will be set against the Section involved.

An application form for P, A & M by any Rugby Section in the Club must be completed and submitted to Mark Ashley (forms available on the Club Website) who will act both as co-ordinator and as a filter. If the amount of money involved per Section is in excess of £100.00 or there is an accumulation by any a Section in excess of £250 in the space of 90 days, the Club Treasurer will have to be consulted.
If there is any issue that needs to be dealt with, either DJ or MA will liase with the applicant. It is not the intention to block any legitimate application for either P, A or M, but there has to be an overall control on the 'rugby' budget as a whole. The Junior Section has a deal more license in this regard as they have been alllocated a grant which allows for a percentage to be used for the purposes of P, A & M.
Each Section is advised,therefore, to start to keep their own 'accounts' of any spending as a dry run in readiness for 2007-08
