WELL IT'S TIME TO COME HOME...
Wigan RUFC is right behind the Rugby Football Union's GoPlayRugby initiative as we look to welcome back into the fold players who have for various reasons left the game, and especially welcome new players OF ANY AGE who want to come and be part of the RU family at Wigan.
We have teams for all ages and levels of ability, and a friendly, purpose-built clubhouse that welcomes players, their families, people with disabilities, spectators and players of other sport alike..

THE RFU launched its GoPlayRugby initiative at Broughton Park RUFC in Manchester on May 2nd. Seventeen clubs in Lancashire were selected to spearhead the drive to recruit players from the 25-40 age group who have played in the past but have for some reason given up the game (and all the good things that come with it).
Wigan RUFC intends to carry on the campaign at the club with the aim of recruiting players and volunteers at all levels: future social events will be planned around major tournaments especially the six nations competition in 2008.
